Mummy Dearest is a great effect based on John Bundy’s take on the “Skeleton in the Closet.”

The Skeleton in the Closet is a classic magic trick, also known as the Mismade Skeleton or Skeleton in a Cupboard, where a skeleton is repeatedly assembled and then appears scrambled, only to be solved by the magician, often after vanishing and reappearing the head. The trick involves a special cabinet and blocks representing parts of a skeleton, which the audience sees put together correctly but then appear mixed up when the cabinet is lifted. The effect culminates in the magician making the head block vanish and then reappear in its correct position.
