MAK Magic Imperial Orange, Rice & Checkers

Highly Collectible Rare Prop

This is the MAK Magic version of the classic Orange, Rice & Checkers where all three items magically change places with each other within the two large Oriental decorated cylinders. 

The Effect

• Item 1: A stack of eight large checkers (typically 4 inches in diameter).
• Item 2: A full-sized real orange.
• Item 3: A quantity of loose rice poured into a fancy canister or vase. 

1. The tube that held the checkers is lifted, and rice pours out.
2. The tube that held the orange is lifted to reveal the checkers.
3. The canister that held the rice is shown to contain the orange, often being turned upside down to show it is otherwise empty. 

Key Features of the MAK Magic Version

• Prop Size: The tubes are approximately 11.5 to 12 inches tall.
• Visuals: MAK Magic sets are known for “fluorescent colors” and bold designs intended to be visible from a distance.
• Construction: Unlike high-end collector versions from manufacturers like Owen Magic or Rings ‘N’ Things, MAK’s version is often considered more affordable but “gaudy” or utilitarian.
• Portability: Despite its stage size, it is designed for ease of use and can be worked relatively close to the audience without “tell-tale holes” in the tubes. 

In collectible condition with very minor imperfections. Includes all components as issued, the cylinders stand 12″ tall and each checker is about 4″ in diameter. A large effect that plays well and can easily be performed close-up or on stage.  Please note, this is a heavy item and weighs in over 10lbs fully packaged.
