- U.F. Grant: Created his first tricks in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and later moved to New York City to join the Abbott Magic & Novelty Co. He eventually settled in Columbus, Ohio, where he created his own firm, “U.F. Grant Magic”. In 1944, he partnered with R.N. Menge to create a line of products called “Grant and Menge” or “G. & M.”.
- Mary Ann King: Took over the business from her father and renamed it MAK Magic.
- Jimmy P. King: Ran the company with his grandmother until being sold. MAK Magic still manufactures many of U.F. Grant’s items
