The apparatus was manufactured and sold first under his own name and later under MAK Magic, the company formed when Grant turned his magic business over to his daughter, Mary Ann King, in 1964

• The Setup: Liquid (usually water or juice) is poured openly into a metal can.
• The Vanish: The magician turns the can completely upside down, but the liquid has entirely vanished.
• The Climax: The liquid is later reproduced from a completely different location, or a dry object (like a silk handkerchief or confetti) unexpectedly pours out instead.
