Tony Anverdi (1925–1995) was a Dutch magician and legendary inventor widely regarded as a pioneer in micro-electronic magic. Born in Holland as Antonius Albertus de Vries, he spent his life hand-crafting intricate props that were far ahead of their time, often compared to a “Steve Jobs” of the magic world for his perfectionism and technical innovation.

Mental Die: Perhaps his most famous contribution, this allows a magician to know the exact number on a die rolled by a spectator while the performer’s back is turned.
