Prop Details and Design

• The Character: The routine features “Snarky Shark,” an OCD-driven scavenger who clears shipwrecks of debris.
• Engineering: According to Wolf’s Magic, the prop utilizes the same fine engineering as its predecessor (the “Run Wolf Run” effect) but with a theme centered around sharks to appeal to children.
• Included Components: The set typically includes multiple figures, such as two extra Snarky Shark figures and a bonus “Pirate Shark” for the routine’s finale. 

Performance Routine

The routine is designed to create a sense of “uncontrolled chaos and fun” through audience participation. 

1. The Curse: The magician explains that a shipwreck is cursed; anyone attempting to steal the pirates’ gold is transformed into a sea creature.
2. The Reveal: A purple creature is shown inside the ship, representing a previous thief. The Snarky Shark is then introduced on the other side.
3. The Chase: The kids are asked to warn Snarky if he tries to go toward the gold. Snarky “runs” between sides, peaks from the top, and appears in various locations while the audience shouts warnings.
4. The Climax: After a “look-don’t-see” sequence where the prop is shown completely empty (doors open all the way through), Snarky is found in a different location dressed as a pirate.
